Of course all the gothic people are already very exciting about he 20th WGT coming soon. Everybody wants to know who will be the star band of Agra Hall….But till then please find some bands already published.
WGT is the biggest festival in Germany always full with gothic people, with an amazing feeling when you are walking in the city meeting with other people crazy about this music.
The time is perfect for the festival, the beggining of June hopefully will be sunny, and warm, we can enjoy the traveling on the City, and the concerts outside of Agra Hall.
This time is a special time, the 20th WGT keeps our eyes on Germany, and every day we are justwaiting for the new bands. And there are a lot of shows already which we are interested in. Deine Lakaien is one of the most popular band for us, or Fields of the Nephilim, Front 242, Terminal Choise, but there are a lot of interesting bands. And also still there are a lot of bands we are waiting for…

Front 242
Front 242’s entire history was clearly defined from the start when Daniel B. and Dirk Bergen released the first single “Principles” with the hit song “Body to Body” in 1981. In 1982, Patrick Codenys – keyboards and Jean-Luc De Meyer – vocals join Front 242 and they release the single “U-Men” followed by the first full-length album “Geography”. This album already displayed the cold, synthetic brand of dance music that would become Front 242’s signature sound in the following years. In 1983, Dirk Bergen left and Richard 23 joined the band as stage performer and vocalist.
The band created its own label , and the organization which promoted music from Belgium. 1983 saw the release of an EP “Endless Riddance” and the re-release of the first two singles under the title “Two-In-One”. The band developed and quickly reached a specialised audience in Europe.
With the second full-length album “No Comment” in 1984 the term surfaced to describe the synthetic and physically charged qualities of Front 242’s music and sounds recycled from the media and television.
In 1985, the fabulous “Politics Of Pressure” was released on 24 track. That year, the band played for the first time in large European festivals and flew to the U.S.A. for some live performances. They were soon tagged as a very powerful live group.
The international breakthrough came in 1987 following the signing to Wax Trax in the United States and Red Rhino in Europe with the release of the single “Interception” and the albums “Backcatalogue” and “Official Version”. This album had a busier sound picture in contrast to the minimalism of the first two studio albums.
In 1988, Front 242 released the groundbreaking album “Front by Front”, taking their sound to its logical extreme. Preceded by the dance-club hit single “Headhunter” and its prize-winning video directed by Anton Corbijn, “Front By Front” was the band’s most streamlined and dance-oriented release, with an index/bpm chart displayed on the sleeve for DJ convenience. This release firmly placed the group as a major driving force of electronic music.
For their next album release “Tyranny >For You<” in 1991, Front 242 was approached by Epic Records U.S. In the next two years Epic did not only release “Tyranny >For You<”, but also the entire back catalogue with additional material and new covers. Two different versions of “Tragedy >For You<“ were lifted from the album. For the first time Front 242 was remixed by other bands: The Orb and Prodigy. The sound of these singles differed somewhat from Front 242′s previous releases. The Orb and Prodigy brought a richer and more varied sound.
When Front 242 resurfaced at the end of 1993, it was with a radically new sound and two new CD’s “06:21:03:11 Up Evil” and “05:22:09:12 Off”released within a few months of each other. Front 242 enlisted the services of a number of production people and musicians, giving the sound on both CD’s an extremely rich and layered quality. “06:21:03:11 Up Evil” is the opposite of “05:22:09:12 Off”; the two CD’s are based on the duality of good and evil. While “06:21:03:11 Up Evil” utilizes guitars extensively and has a more chaotic sound, “05:22:09:12 Off”; is a more melodic CD with female vocals giving the music a sense of beauty that is not normally present in Front 242′s music.
In 1994, Front 242 released “Live Code” which was recorded during their last world tour.
The group’s influence from other electronic bands and producers became apparent when Front 242′s 1995 release “Mut@ge.Mix@ge” featured remixes by Prodigy, The Orb and Underworld. More than just a remix album, all the tracks were reedited in a specific order by Front 242 to provide continuity of enveloping atmospheres and rhythms.
In 1997, Billboard Encyclopaedia featured Front 242 in their “Top 500 Best Producers in Rock History”.
After a three-year sabbatical, the band decided to undertake a World Tour. Playing live had always been a good way for them to experience excitement and creativity.
In 1998, Front 242 released “Re:Boot”, a live album that included new sounds and structures in order to present updated versions of previous Front 242 tracks, once again creating unique sounds and songs.
In 2003, after a long studio absence, Front 242 released the EP “Still & Raw” and the album “Pulse”. Based on an aesthetic from the 70’s and 80’s, when German bands influenced the roots of today’s electronic music. Front 242 re-invented the original sound that was at the centre of their art and enriched it by 20 years of experience. Analogue technologies and vintage machines pulsing into deconstructed tracks where emotion and research leads to a purely electronic attitude.
Recent years have seen the members of Front 242 taking a break to pursue various solo projects.

Love Like Blood
Its nucleus consists of Eysel brothers (Yorck-vocals, lyrics and Gunnar – bass). The band was active in the years 1989-2001 and is now on (indefinite) hiatus. Its early sound reminisces the style of The Fields of the Nephilim. They made their breakthrough with the 1992 album “An Irony of Fate”, which marked the debut of the English guitarist Mark Wheeler. This album showcased a transition to a more hard-rock-influenced style.
In the middle of the 1990s, Love Like Blood turned to Gothic metal with the album “Exposure”.
On their 2000 album, “Enslaved + Condemned”, Love Like Blood made a rendition of Youssou N’Dour & Neneh Cherry’s song “Seven Seconds”, giving the pop song a more ragged metal-oriented cover.
In January 2010 it was announced that Love Like Blood would be performing live for the “first and only” time since 1999 at the Twentieth Anniversary Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival in Leipzig.[1]

Amikor elkezdődik a nyár akkor biztosra veheted hogy midenki elkezd nyüzsögni merre is menjenek, milyen fesztiválokra látogassanak. Idén semmiképp nem kérdése, hogy meglátogassuk-e a WGT 20. évfodulóját, hiszen biztosan elképesztő buli lesz, és hatalmas bandákat láthatunk majd.
Nekünk már most vannak kedvenceink, hiszen a Front 242, a Fields of the Nephilim, a Deine Lakaien mind ott lesznek. Ha már most ők a kezdő bandák, akkor nem is merem elképzelni kik leszen a legutóljára kijövő húzó nevek!
Amikor megveszitek a jegyeket, pár dologra figyeljetek:
Fent találtok egy linket amire ha rákkatintasz akkor a WGT hivatlaos honlapján megvásárolhatod a jegyed, és természetesen postaköltséggel azért még számolj. A jegy ára nem húzós 81 Euro, ezen kívül ha szeretnél kempingezni akkor egy úgynevezett obsorge jegyet is venned kell, hiszen ez jogosít majd fel hogy a kemping területén sátrat verj 
Sajnos ahogy általában szoktam szállást idén nem nagyon tudok ajénlani, mert szinte minden foglalt, ami van az nagyon messze van az Agra Messe-Parktól, és nem hiszem hogy az esti buli után szeretnétek órákat gyalogolni, illetve éjszakaizni. Sok szerencsét, akinek nincs még szállása az egyszerűen menjen fel a fórumokra, és érdeklődjön kiadó lakás felől!
Hogy hogyan jutsz el Lipcséig? Hát van egyszer egy vonat lehetőség, aztán pedig a repülő. Mindkettő elég drága, szerintem a magyar fórumokon megéri kocsit nézni!
Ha nem jártál még kint a fesztiválon nézz bele néhány beszámolóba, és hátha megjön a kedved 
Deine Lakaien zenekarról:
A banda 1986-ban adta ki az első albumot, tehát a több mint 20 éve közkedvelt zenekar mindig is a fesztiválok húzóneve. Veljanov akinek talán az egyik legszebb hangja van általában mind a régebbi, mind az újabb albumokról válogat a koncertek alkalmával. Az eredetileg Macedón énekes ugyan Németországban tevékenykedik, mégis személyiségén érezni a sajátos jegyeket. Úgy tartja hogy a boldoguláshoz a saját gondolatok mellett barátait és bevonja, így zenekara lassan egyre bővült, és a színpadon egy fantastikus laza, ámbár maximálisan precíz bandát láthatunk.
A legútóbbi lemez 2010-ben jelent meg Indicator címmel, ami szint úgy közkedvelt a gothic zene kedvelők körében. a hangzás mindeképpen egyedi, egy fantasztikus hang, és a mindig jól szóló zenekar. Bár két ilyen matuzsálem alapban garancia a tökéletes hangzásra.
Ha szeretnél belehallgatni a zenébe, akkor ajánlom ao Over and Done, A Vivre, Heart To be mine, a When you loose számokat, amik gyakran a koncerteken is elhangzanak.
Terminal Choice:
A banda elekrotikus rock&Rollt játszik Chris megfogalmazása szerint, ami igazából drága kedvencünk azon bandája ahol ő magát adja. Abban a ruhában amiben általában civilben is látni, és semmi vámpírkodás, halál, csak egy szórakoztató zene. Többek között ha nem ismeritek a bandát hallgassatok bele a Devil Daddy- be és képet kaptok a banda “komolyságáról”. Ennek ellenére nem kell mindig minden bandának mély tartalommal bírnia, így ha csak önfeledten, esetleg mosolyva szeretnél egy nagyot bulizni akkor teljesen jó hely számodra, egy TC koncert.
Habár az új album nem hallatott magáról annyit mint az előzők, mágis kicsi vicces dolgokat fel tudunk feledni, mint plédául a kis halál mindenképpen elragadó a Keine Macht videó elején.
